For partners, a checklist to ensure you are ready for service
Make sure you are ready for service at the start of each session. Here are a few quick checks to help:
Tech
- Ensure all tablets (main PWB tablet, Deliveroo Tablets, Just Eat tablets) are turned on and connected to the internet.
- Ensure Deliverect is logged in.
- Ensure you are logged in to your Deliveroo and Just Eat tablets.
- Ensure all out of stocks are to date on Deliverect and any out of stocks from the night before have been reset.
- Ensure nothing is snoozed from the night before.
- Check you printer, ensure you have paper, power, and a connection with the tablet - do a test print.
- Once service has opened, ensure all platform tablets say 'ready to take orders'.
Prep:
- Check that you have all products in stock.
- Prep all items needed for service in advance such as sauces and garnishes.
Cook lines
- Ensure you have all the tools you need for cooking: i.e. timers, thermometers.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order in particular the fryers.
Assembly
- Check you have all packaging i.e. bags, stickers, boxes and pre-assemble packaging to save time in service.
- Ensure all sauces are to hand and all produce is within a step or two of the assembly area.
Dispatch
- Ensure you have all the tools you need for dispatch i.e. pens and a stapler with staples.
Operations:
- Ensure the layout of your kitchen is efficient and optimised for each stage - Cooking, Assembly, Dispatch.
- Check for special events that might create sales uplift such as sporting events or local events.
- Check staffing levels are appropriate to run your main kitchen and delivery at the same time.
Tip: During service always check your tablets have stable wi-fi connectivity - particularly especially if orders are lower than usual or you are getting ghost orders.
