      How can I amend my ingredients order?

      This article will outline important considerations when amending an ingredients order that has been created by PWB

      Background

      Under the PWB performance model, partners will have the costs for ingredients covered by PWB in order to fulfil customer orders. These ingredient orders will be placed according to a predetermined schedule and will be generated by PWB based on sales projections. In order to account for spikes in customer demand, partners will have an opportunity to amend these generated orders before they are placed. 

      Questions:

      When can I amend an ingredients order?

      PWB will create orders due to a predetermined schedule which will be communicated to you during your onboarding process. Please contact our customer support if you wish to be reminded of this schedule, or if you would like to request an amendment to this schedule. 

      The following timelines will be followed on the day of order creation:

      Time of day Deadline
      10:00 PWB created order basket
      12:00 Partner completed amendments
      14:30 PWB reviewed amendments and placed order

       

      How do I amend an ingredients order?

      1. Open Apicbase - either via the Apicbase icon on your PWB tablet's home screen or go to https://get.apicbase.com/ and click 'login' in the top right hand corner
      2. Click on the 'All Orders' button

      3. Click on the 'Claim' button and then click 'Yes'

      4. Navigate to the required additional ingredient by using either the search bar (shown on the left below) or by scrolling through the pages and using the numbers (shown in the top right) to move to the next page

      5. Use the + and - icons at the right of the required ingredient (shown below) to add or remove items from your order basket

      How much can I amend the ingredients order?

      Order amendments are accepted to account for: 1. inaccuracies in the forecasted order through high levels of wastage and 2. unusual variations in customer sales volumes. 


      Amendment policies:

      1. Each ingredient can be amended by the quantity of stock recorded in Apicbase
      2. On a bi-monthly basis, PWB will reconcile the cost of amended ingredients that were not required for customer orders. Refunds will later be issued if these ingredients end up being used
