What can I request a reimbursement for?

This article will outline when you can request a reimbursement for ingredients that you have sourced independently

Why does PWB reimburse?

In the new Performance Model, PWB pays for the ingredients ordered through Apicbase that are required to service customer orders.

If an ingredient is ordered through Apicbase and then unsuccessfully delivered (either out of stock or picking error) by the preferred Supplier then PWB will reimburse the value of the replacement ingredient, which will be sourced by the restaurant partner.

 

What do I need to be eligible for a reimbursement?

PWB will reimburse only for ingredients that were ordered through the approved supply chain, and so each request requires:

  • Ingredient initially ordered through Apicbase
  • Proof that the ingredient was unsuccessfully delivered
  • Receipt of the substitute ingredient

 

How much will I be reimbursed for a replacement ingredient?

PWB will reimburse the value of your replacement item up to 25% more expensive than the ingredient in Apicbase, for example:

  • Ingredient in Apicbase costs £10
  • Replacement item costs £15 as the pack size is larger
  • PWB will reimburse £12.50

How do I request a reimbursement?

Once a replacement ingredient has been purchased and the relevant images have been taken (proof of non-delivery and receipt of replacement item), follow this process to submit a reimbursement request.
