What should I do if an ingredient is unavailable in Apicbase?

This article is for partners that have transitioned to the new Performance Model and will summarise the actions that should be taken if an ingredient is unavailable in Apicbase

Background:

There are two scenarios in which ingredients could be unavailable in Apicbase:

  1. The ingredient is not stocked by PWB's preferred suppliers
  2. The ingredient has been ordered through Apicbase but unsuccessfully delivered by the PWB preferred supplier

Ingredient not stocked by PWB's preferred suppliers


  • Where should I source a replacement from?
    • Providing that a high quality of product is maintained PWB will allow for flexibility in where replacements are purchased from, these could include:
  • Am I eligible for a refund for this replacement?
    • The cost of sourcing these ingredients is included in the 'Base Commission' that you receive and so refunds will not be processed

Ingredient unsuccessfully delivered by PWB preferred supplier


  • Where should a source a replacement from?
    • Providing that a high quality of product is maintained PWB will allow for flexibility in where replacements are purchased from, these could include:
  • Am I eligible for refund for this replacement?
    • You are eligible for a refund for the replacement of any ingredient that was purchased through Apicbase but was unsuccessfully delivered
