What should I do when receiving an ingredients delivery?

This article will outline the steps that should be taken when an ingredients order is delivered

Points of note:

  • PWB uses the supplier's delivery note when reviewing reimbursement requests
  • PWB uses the supplier's delivery note for the weekly CoGS reconciliation process
  • Delivery notes are prone to user error on two counts:
    1. Incorrectly picking the items at the depot
    2. Miss-delivering ingredients to another drop-off

Delivery process:

The delivery slot will be communicated to you in the order confirmation email, please ensure that you are available at the site when the delivery driver arrives and complete the following:

  1. Receive the delivery note receipt from the driver
  2. Use a pen to tick off items as they are unpacked from the delivery vehicle boxes
  3. If there are items missing from the delivery, ensure that the driver amends this and escalates to their depot
  4. If there are items with quality concerns, use this form to escalate this to the PWB supply chain team
  5. Take a picture of the delivery note
  6. Upload the picture of the delivery note to the order in Apicbase
