For partners: How to read through and understand your sales statement
Overview
You will be paid on a fortnightly basis, before midnight every other Thursday. Your invoice and sales statement for the previous fortnightly trading period will be loaded into Partner Portal as part of this process.
As an example, we paid our partners on Thursday (18th Aug) for the 2-week trading period Monday 1st Aug - Sunday 14th Aug. The period covered is noted on each sales statement at the top above the invoice number.
For each payment, we issue a sales statement and invoice which can be found on the Partner Portal in the analytics section.
Tip: For more assistance on locating your sales statement read 'Where can I find my sales statements and invoices?'

The Sales Statement has three tables:
- Summary Table - this is the most important table and shows how the various fees and credits are applied to your Gross Sales to calculate the amount you will be paid for that trading period.
- Sales Split - this shows how your sales are split across the different virtual brands and the fees that are applied (excluding VAT for the PWB fee)
- Summary of charges and credits - this details the charges and credits which are applied after the net payment sub-total has been calculated.
We have included a more detailed explanation of how each section within the Summary Table is calculated below:
Gross Sales and PWB Fees
The gross sales included per brand are calculated from the data we receive directly from the platforms - Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats.
We show the split of these sales across the different brands you are running in the 'Sales Split' section at the top.

Please note: You will notice if you add up the individual net payment values in the Sales Split that this doe not equal the Net subtotal in the summary. This is because the net payment section in the 'Sales Split' table does not include the VAT on the PWB fee. This needs to be deducted to get the net subtotal i.e.
Total of Net Payments in Sales Split - PWB fee VAT of 20% = Net Subtotal.
We then deduct or add other charges or credits which are detailed in the 'Summary of Charges and Credits' and further explained in the sections below.
This will total the amount due, which will be how much you are paid.
Breakdown of charges and credits:
In the bottom half of the 'Breakdown of charges and credits' table, we take your net subtotal and DEDUCT platform deductions and other fees and ADD promotions and credits.
Each category is explained in further detail below, and you will also be able to find more detail in the 'Summary of charges and credits' table that details why you are receiving certain charges and credits:
1. Platform deductions
Platform deductions are refunds paid to customers - these are deducted from the net subtotal. Peckwater Brands challenge all requested refunds and are successful 70% of the time, on average.
Tip: Refunds should still be expected from time to time. As a benchmark, refunds below 2% of gross sales is an acceptable limit.
2. Other fees
Other fees are deducted from the net subtotal. These include various charges, such as packaging fees and sanctions (see sanctions information here).
More specific information on what these other fees refer to can be seen in the ‘Summary of charges and credit’ on the left-hand side.
3. Promotions
Promotions are discounts funded by Peckwater Brands and are added to the net subtotal.
Discounts on food on the platforms (Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats) are funded by Peckwater Brands in the first 12 weeks and when there are pilot promotions. These show in the 'Summary of charges and credit' as PWB funded promotion.
4. Credits
Credits are added to the net subtotal. They include various additions such as referral bonuses and rewards. Details of the credits will be shown in the ‘Summary of charges and credit' table on the left-hand side - in the video below, for example, the credit is a £500 fee for a site referral.
